By accessing or using the website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.
Arcan Kaleidoscope operates as a sole proprietorship based in South Africa. These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, and we ship internationally.

1. Use of the Website
By using this website, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old, or you are using the site under supervision of a guardian.
- You will provide accurate, complete, and current information when placing an order.
- You will not use the site for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.

2. Products and Availability
All products listed on the website are subject to availability.
We reserve the right to:
- Modify or discontinue products at any time
- Limit quantities
- Refuse an order due to suspected fraud or errors

3. Order Processing Time
Orders are processed within 2–5 business days.
This processing time does not include weekends or public holidays.
If your order includes custom-made or made-to-order pieces, additional production time may apply. Custom orders are non-refundable.

4. Custom Orders
We accept custom orders upon request.
By placing a custom order, you acknowledge:
- Custom pieces are non-refundable
- Custom designs may vary slightly due to handmade craftsmanship
- You are responsible for providing accurate instructions, sizes, and design details

5. Pricing and Payment
Prices shown are in South African Rand (ZAR).
Your browser may display currency conversions automatically, but all charges are processed in ZAR.
We reserve the right to:
- Correct pricing errors
- Cancel orders affected by incorrect pricing or stock errors
- Update prices without notice
If an error occurs, we may cancel the order and issue a full refund before shipping.
Payments are processed securely through PayFast.
We do not store or have access to your credit card details.

6. Order Cancellations
Cancellations are only accepted if the order has not yet been processed.
Once your order enters processing or production, it cannot be cancelled.
Custom orders cannot be cancelled under any circumstances.

7. Returns and Exchanges
Customers have 7 days from delivery to request a return.
To qualify, items must be:
- Unworn
- Undamaged
- In original packaging
- Free of scratches, marks, or signs of use

Non-returnable items include:
- Earrings (hygiene reasons)
- Custom or made-to-order pieces
- Engraved or altered items
- Sale/discounted items
- Items damaged after delivery
- Items returned without original packaging

Return Shipping Costs
Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is defective upon arrival.

8. Shipping and Delivery
We ship locally and internationally.
Once dispatched, the parcel is handled by The Courier Guy or other chosen couriers.

Risk Transfer
Once the parcel is handed to the courier, risk transfers to the customer.
This means Arcan Kaleidoscope is not liable for:
- Lost parcels
- Delayed parcels
- Stolen parcels
- Damaged parcels due to courier handling
We will assist with courier claims where possible, but we are not financially responsible for courier errors.

9. International Shipping
International customers are responsible for:
- Customs fees
- Import duties
- Taxes
- Clearance charges
These vary by country and are not included in product or shipping prices.

10. Intellectual Property
All content on this website is the property of Arcan Kaleidoscope, including:
- Jewelry designs
- Product photos
- Text and descriptions
- Branding and logos
- Website layout
- Graphics
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any content without prior written permission.
Violations may result in legal action.

11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arcan Kaleidoscope is not liable for:
- Allergic reactions to metals or materials
- Tarnishing caused by moisture, chemicals, or improper care
- Damage caused by customer handling or misuse
- Loss resulting from courier delays or issues
- Website errors or downtime
- Technical issues outside our control
Customers are responsible for reading product descriptions and care instructions.

12. Warranty
Arcan Kaleidoscope does not offer formal warranties beyond what is required by South African consumer law.
We guarantee that items are free from manufacturing faults upon delivery.
Manufacturing faults must be reported within 7 days of receipt.
Damage caused by wear, improper care, or accidents is not covered.

13. Accuracy of Information
We aim to provide accurate product descriptions and images, but:
- Colours may vary based on screen settings
- Handmade items may have slight variations
- Measurements are approximate
We reserve the right to correct errors or update information at any time.
